Full Potential

The National Full Potential (NFP) is a new project funded by the Big Lottery Fund and is aimed at young Deaf people aged 11 to 25, providing activities and courses to help them successfully negotiate transition into adulthood.

CDYP are working in partnership with other Deaf Youth North East organisations such as Newcastle YMCA, Sunderland Deaf Centre and Durham to reach as many Deaf young people in the North East as possible

Purpose:  To organise and deliver courses for Deaf Youth groups in the North East of England to meet the needs of Every Child Matters Outcomes.  To empower young people to take part in Steering Groups and encourage them to lead the project and courses as well as recruiting new youth members to the activities.
